Anger – just “is”…

I have always tried to stay away (hard to do) from anger… One becomes afraid to be “it” or near it, less espress it, or even accept it’s pressence in my own heart.

Anger means rejection, bad feelings, shame, and guilt. “Wrong” anger leaves you empty. I’ve learned to accept the reality of my own anger, as well as the fact that another person’s anger cannot diminish me.
Anger need not be a violent urge to lash out. properly expressed, anger can be a force for good. If I am angry enough to say “no” to anyone’s “manipulations/wrong guidance/doings” (etc.), my anger has changed for the better!

I have learned to say, “I feel really angry right now. I will talk to you about it after I’ve had a chance to think it through”. A need to comprehend the “other side” is essential …
Anger itself is neither good nor bad. Like all our other feelings, anger just ‘is‘. Ignored it causes Ulcers, High Blood Pressure, Headaches, and Depression (ampngst many other ailments).

Accepted calmly and honestly, properly channeled and expressed, Anger – can bring about healthful change.
Daily affirmation:
Today I Will give up my fear of anger, and let it work for good!
