Growing in Gratitude

Looking at my gratitude list today, I recognize how much it has grown, as I’ve grown with it.

How did I ever over come my anger, my guilts, and my compulsion to blame others in resentful silence?
There are many “tools” that have helped me along the way.
Here are some things I am grateful for–
1. Open communication, literature, education, tolerance, acceptance, patience, oneness, compassion & Love.
2. Hands on “living”— everyday is an experience to learn from. Knowing that every turn, path or crossroad we come to, is a new experience to learn from…and share.
3. A Higher Power I CAN see At Work.
4. A new way of life that I practice daily, in all my affairs.
5. The ability to take a REAL good look at myself… from inside out, and back in again… and finally “SEE ME” as I AM.
6. Freedom from expectations, demands, control, useless anger, and blind reaction.
7. Honest, and humble living.
8. The Friends I’ve made, the ones I’ve touch, and been “touched” by, the paths I’ve crossed/shared with many, most being pshysically unknown, yet are felt as part of “me”.
I am grateful for all those things that have restored my ability to smile, laugh, and share in the fullness of life.
Daily Affirmation:
Today I will add something new to my “gratitude” list.
(It will be YOU, my dearest Friend!)
