I’m writing you in a sincere effort to make amends. I’m sorry for all the hell I’ve put you through. I kept you from getting the help, guidance, attention you’ve needed. When we are down, healthwise, financially, family burdens, sorrows, mourning.. etc. etc., we often find ourself with a Constant Prayer on Our lips and in our hearts.
“Oh God if….”Oh God please….”

In our quest for serenity and growth, we have received many gifts, But these gifts did not come cheap. They where bought at the price of tears, frustrations, stuggle, and pain.
After a crisis, when life has returned to normal ( if there’s such a thing ), I can easily fall back into my old habits. I can relapse into living without keeping conscious contact with my Higer Power. Seems that we only ’seek’ it when we are in dispair/conflict… or in sorrow.
I have always tried to stay away (hard to do) from anger… One becomes afraid to be “it” or near it, less espress it, or even accept it’s pressence in my own heart.
In the ‘Serenity Prayer’ used by many organizations, churches, support groups, etc. etc., we ask for inner peace, for courage to do things that may (seem to) be difficult, or contrary to our own wills, and for discernment — the wisdom to know the difference.
When a very ill person is monitored by an electronic device, the lines on the screen tell us he/she’s alive. They dart up and down carrying the message… “Yes this heart still beats”.
The ups and downs in our daily existance also tells us we are vital, performing individuals. We take risks, we venture out, we give and recieve love, we sometimes despair, and other times, we know great joy.
