Peacefulness
Peacefulness comes within.
Strength replaces fear.
The Calm soothes my body.

I have always tried to stay away (hard to do) from anger… One becomes afraid to be “it” or near it, less espress it, or even accept it’s pressence in my own heart.

In the ‘Serenity Prayer’ used by many organizations, churches, support groups, etc. etc., we ask for inner peace, for courage to do things that may (seem to) be difficult, or contrary to our own wills, and for discernment — the wisdom to know the difference.

When a very ill person is monitored by an electronic device, the lines on the screen tell us he/she’s alive. They dart up and down carrying the message… “Yes this heart still beats”.
The ups and downs in our daily existance also tells us we are vital, performing individuals. We take risks, we venture out, we give and recieve love, we sometimes despair, and other times, we know great joy.

Yep.. Up To My Ears InDeed!!!
I had to laugh when they told me (after 4 neurologists in 10 years) that my severe Never-Ending VERTIGO is caused by “Crystals” in the most inner part of the ear- (behind inner ear stones can form)

After awhile…
You learn the subtle differences between holding a hand and charming a soul.
You learn that love doesn’t mean leaning and company doesn’t mean security.
You begin to learn that kisses aren’t promises.

A lighter load
Life is but a journey, a long trip through rugged terrain and deep dark forests, across raging rivers and high mountains. But, at the end of every trip you know that you will find shelter and hope for your next adventure to be a more “gentle” one.

When Crying IS needed….
How many of us find ourselves crying more than Usual?
- Heck- I cry ALMOST everyday!
I cry softly when it’s a ‘passing memory”- (mostly out of fond loving memories) – and I cry HARD when it is a Painful (heartwise) situation. I know it sounds sad, but is is more sad not to be able to embrace the “emotion”… or What “we fear/loose/miss”(etc) -

Pity Party
We all have days when the bad things seem to outweigh the good ones and we begin to think that life isn’t fair. You get stuck in traffic, which makes you late for an important meeting, and then your car gets towed. You might ask yourself, “Why me?”

WHO WANTS TO BE A MILLIONAIRE?
Mind you it’s easy to talk about money as being evil but what effect would it have on us if we suddenly had the big Lotto win? As Mark Twain once said: “I am opposed to millionaires but it would be dangerous to offer me the position.” Read the rest of this entry »

So, you think St. Valentine was just some sexy, romantic type guy they base romance novels on, huh?

Well, that’s a common belief, and completely wrong.

There comes a time that we just cannot bear it anymore…
where we feel lost, confused, cheated, and even unworthy.
These are the times that “being” is what determines who you really are!

There are words that one should be very careful in using, even in jest. Some words just have a real emotional charge to them and if you’re going to use them, you ought to be very sure of the company you’re in and the response you’ll get.
Only children have an excuse for being surprised at the reactions their choice of words generate. Communication in electronic form is a tricky thing. Often people assume the reader will get their intent, humor and/or tone. Read the rest of this entry »

The Force of Love Is the Force of Total Revolution
A tender, loving concern for all living creatures will need to arise and reign in our hearts if any of us is to survive. And our lives will be truly blessed only when the misery of one is genuinely felt to be the misery of all. The force of love is the force of total revolution. It is the unreleased force, unknown and unexplored as a dynamic for change.

The most important thing I’ve had to learn is to allow myself to grieve.
You must take the time to pour through the memories, to recognize your emotions. If you try to push through as our society demands, you’re going to be somewhere you do not want to be when the feelings and tears come pouring out.

My son last eve came home in a frantic panic rush… his father (my ex) had a stroke- (living approx 3 hours away) upstate NY- Of course he was all speed up to shoot right up there- a “snowy area of NYS” I had to intervene.
As much “damage” this man has done to me especially his son (deadbeat dad badTIME) I could not feel anything but the pain my son was going through at the moment-
